If you said, “An eye,” you’re right! 
If you said “A cat’s eye,” you’re a star!


I love this picture. Not only is it a cool picture to look at, but it shows us one of the ways that a cat’s eye is different from ours. A cat’s eye is shaped differently than ours, so that if you look at it from the side, you can see the filtration angle; the part where the iris (the coloured part of the eye) meets the cornea (the clear, curved window at the front of the eye.) Ophthalmologists need special equipment to see this angle in people.
